Preschool is over....Boo Hoo Hoo

Caleb's preschool has ended for the year.....He had a great year, made a lot of friends, and learned tons! He is sad that it is over for the summer, but excited that he gets to go back in the fall. They had an end of the year program where the kids sang songs and showed what they learned throughout the year. I am so proud of my little man for being such a smart kid and doing so well!

Ms. Kylee will be missed.....she is a GREAT teacher!

Here are a couple little videos that we took of Caleb singing some songs. The one where he sings the alphabet......pay special attention to the letters M and N! haha. The other one is a sign language song, and he is one of the only kids who knew the sign language. There are some other cute videos, so if you want to see more let me know and I can email you.

The newest member of our family!

This is the newest member of our family! His name is DEXTER! He is a 6 month old Shih-Apso (Shih Tzu / Laso Apso mix). He is the BEST puppy! He doesn't bark, he is litter box trained, he has all his shots, he is fixed, and he is so good with the kids. They love him to death (sometimes too much) and he is just so good about it. He knows a few simple commands and Brandon has been working with him a lot and we have been surprised by how fast he is learning to obey. What a find!!

Cambree turns 2!

Cambree shared her birthday with Easter this year so we celebrated while we were all together. We can't believe our little baby is already 2. Time flies! She had a great birthday and loved all the singing and cake!

She got this new dress and had to try it on right away. She loves it!

Easter

We had a great Easter this year. We went to my parents and had an awesome lunch and did the annual hunt. All the kids are getting older now, so it was pretty much just Caleb and Cambree, but they didn't mind at all!

Ashley was nice enough to help Caleb get the ones he couldn't reach!!

The Easter bunny brought some fun things for Easter this year! The kids came down to see their baskets and didn't really give a hoot about the baskets. Caleb just wanted to find the hidden eggs, and Cambree sat in the corner and cried all morning because we wouldn't let her eat all her candy before 7 am!

Mesquite Nevada

We decided to take a last minute trip to Mesquite to escape the nasty snow and rain. We stayed in a nice townhome with my parents and had a nice time together. The boys went golfing (putting and hitting buckets of balls), we played a lot of tennis, and spend some time at the park. The pool at the townhome was out of commission so we snuck over the Casa Blanca and went swimming one day. It was nice to be away for a weekend and just relax!

Disney on Ice

We had some friends hook us up with tickets to Disney on Ice! It was a blast. The kids loved every minute of it and were completely into it! We saw Lion King, Little Mermaid, Lilo and Stitch, Peter Pan, and Mickey and the Gang. We had a great time!

Caleb's favorite part of the show was seeing the Giant Alligator eat Captain Hook after a fight
with Peter Pan, he wouldn't stop talking about it for days.
Cambree was just content with seeing Minnie!

We are phasing out "The Mullet"

Cambree's FIRST haircut!!

As you can see, Cambree is all party in the front, business in the back...aka: THE MULLET! So it was time to try and phase it out. It is constantly hanging in her eyes and looking "shaggy".

So we spiced things up a little. I cut about an inch-and-a-half off the back and cut a few small bangs so that her hair is not hanging in her eyes. So now she has a cute little bob (in the back) and some little bangs. We are still waiting on the sides to come in so I think we will try and keep in this length until it is all the same length.

She actually did great during the hair cut, she just didn't want her picture taken afterwords
