Random fun from the month of March

This past week we took Caleb to Jump On It. It is right down the street from our house, who knew? It is full of trampolines and big bouncy slides. This is Caleb and his new friend Jace! They had so much fun. Caleb keeps asking me to go back.

We had quite the bed head. It was so cute I just had to share it!

Our really big excitement of the month is getting our first yard project done. We poured cement! We poured a third car pad that came all the way to the backyard and hooked on to a big patio and shed pad. We can't wait for the nice weather to come so we can finish the yard and do more projects!

Grandpa has been over a lot since we moved in, helping us with projects around the house. The kids love having him over! He is their hero!

Macaroni mess!

Easter Fun

Well, Easter was quite the hit at our house. The Easter Bunny came and brought a lot of fun things tot he kids. Caleb loved hunting for the eggs and eating candy at 7:00 in the morning!

What? There is candy inside?

Caleb got a bubble gun! It was the hit of the day.

Eating the basket was more exciting than everything else!

Happy Easter!

Disneyland

Well, we just got back from Disneyland and wanted to share our trip with all of you! We had so much fun, we didn't want to come back!

Caleb thought that flying on the plane was SO cool! He kept telling us that he was going to fly the plane. I told him that he was to little and that he would crash the plane. He told us that he was going to fly the plane, but he would be VERY careful!

Disneyland was such a blast. It was nice to have so many helping hands to help us with the kids, it made it very enjoyable.

Cambree LOVED all the characters!

Caleb's favorite ride were the bumper cars in California Adventure. Everyday he asked if he could go back and ride the cars. He thought it was so fun crashing into people! CRAZY DRIVER!

I think the highlight of the trip was seeing Caleb meet Mickey Mouse. He was so excited and wanted to spend all his time with Mickey.

Caleb loved the rides that flew in the air, can you tell?

Our first day in California was a little chilly, but we still had fun!

Caleb got a "1st visit to Disneyland" pin and a Mickey Mouse sticker.

We had a lot of fun, but some of us were just exhausted!

We were able to spend some time at the beaches that were around. While we were sitting on the beach we actually saw some dolphins swimming in the water close to the shore! The day at the beach was beautiful!

We stayed at a GEORGIOUS resort in Newport Beach. We were actually about a mile away from the beach. We stayed in a 2 bedroom condo that overlooked the pools and the ocean.

At the resort they had a sandbox, basketball courts and little playgrounds for the kids to play on!

Well, that is our trip in a nutshell. We are so excited we could share it all with you! We can't wait to go back again. We all had so much fun. This picture was taken right before we left to come home. Cambree was really sad we had to leave!

November-ish

It has been awhile since we had an update, so we though it was about time. We have had a pretty eventful few months. Here is a look at what we have done!

Last week we went to Temple Square to look at the light. The kids loved it and were good troopers even though it was really cold! We had them so bundled up they could barely move!

Before we went to Temple Square we made gingerbread houses at me-ma's and papa's.

Caleb was so excited that it snowed. He was so excited to go outside with his dad and shovel. He screamed for hours when he had to come in!

As most of you know, we moved into our house this past month. We are so grateful for all the help we had in getting here and getting moved in. The night before Thanksgiving, right after we got our keys, the whole family came and helped us paint like crazy! We had to get everything done because there was a Thanksgiving dinner the next day and then we moved in the day after Thanksgiving. So there were a few late nights and lots of laughs. Thanks everyone for your help.

We have had some people ask us to post pictures of the whole house so they could see it. We have a lot of family and friends who don't live close so we thought it would be fun to share our new adventure with them. So, this is our new house. It is in Lindon, UT. It is 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1700 square feet of living space, and it is on 1/4 an acre. We are still trying to get moved in so excuse the boxes and the unfinished things. We have not hung up any pictures or finished our touch up paint yet. But, we are so excited to be here and have the space. We can't wait until spring when we can put in our yard and a fence so that we can let the wild one run around.

This is our giant pantry that is just off the kitchen

the laundry room is off the side of the pantry. It leads to the garage.

Cambree's room

Caleb's room. He is going to have a construction theme in his room. We have wallpaper boarder that is filled with dump trucks, backhoes, and all things construction.

This is the loft. Do not be alarmed by the mismatched greens. We are going to get a new futon cover to match. This color is just temporary. yuck!

guest bath

Master bedroom. We still have not found bedding that we absolutely love and we are getting some bookcases so that we can finish unpacking these boxes.

Master bath. There is another little section of this bathroom that has a little alcove so that you could put in a standing shower and there is also a walk in closet. It is laundry day, so I didn't take a picture of it. Sorry! Every room has large walk in closets and the master has 2 walk in closets. The other one is right as you walk into the room on the right.

So, that is our new house! We are having so much fun and can't wait to get more organized and set up. We have a lot of fun things to hang on the walls and put up. As we get rooms finished we will post them so that you can see. Check back monthly for updates. We love you all and hope that you have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
