November-ish

It has been awhile since we had an update, so we though it was about time. We have had a pretty eventful few months. Here is a look at what we have done!

Last week we went to Temple Square to look at the light. The kids loved it and were good troopers even though it was really cold! We had them so bundled up they could barely move!

Before we went to Temple Square we made gingerbread houses at me-ma's and papa's.

Caleb was so excited that it snowed. He was so excited to go outside with his dad and shovel. He screamed for hours when he had to come in!

As most of you know, we moved into our house this past month. We are so grateful for all the help we had in getting here and getting moved in. The night before Thanksgiving, right after we got our keys, the whole family came and helped us paint like crazy! We had to get everything done because there was a Thanksgiving dinner the next day and then we moved in the day after Thanksgiving. So there were a few late nights and lots of laughs. Thanks everyone for your help.

We have had some people ask us to post pictures of the whole house so they could see it. We have a lot of family and friends who don't live close so we thought it would be fun to share our new adventure with them. So, this is our new house. It is in Lindon, UT. It is 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1700 square feet of living space, and it is on 1/4 an acre. We are still trying to get moved in so excuse the boxes and the unfinished things. We have not hung up any pictures or finished our touch up paint yet. But, we are so excited to be here and have the space. We can't wait until spring when we can put in our yard and a fence so that we can let the wild one run around.

This is our giant pantry that is just off the kitchen

the laundry room is off the side of the pantry. It leads to the garage.

Cambree's room

Caleb's room. He is going to have a construction theme in his room. We have wallpaper boarder that is filled with dump trucks, backhoes, and all things construction.

This is the loft. Do not be alarmed by the mismatched greens. We are going to get a new futon cover to match. This color is just temporary. yuck!

guest bath

Master bedroom. We still have not found bedding that we absolutely love and we are getting some bookcases so that we can finish unpacking these boxes.

Master bath. There is another little section of this bathroom that has a little alcove so that you could put in a standing shower and there is also a walk in closet. It is laundry day, so I didn't take a picture of it. Sorry! Every room has large walk in closets and the master has 2 walk in closets. The other one is right as you walk into the room on the right.

So, that is our new house! We are having so much fun and can't wait to get more organized and set up. We have a lot of fun things to hang on the walls and put up. As we get rooms finished we will post them so that you can see. Check back monthly for updates. We love you all and hope that you have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

October Update

Hi Everyone! This past month has been a really fun one. Take a look at what has been going on...

For Halloween we went up to my parents and went trick-or-treating. Caleb thought it was so cool that he could knock on someone's door and they would give you candy. Every house we went to he said, "Trick-or-treat" then gave a polite thank you. As soon as he received his candy he would run to us and say, "look at my trick-or-treats!" Every day since then he has been asking if we can have Halloween again.

Caleb was a lion and Cambree was a cheerleader!
Caleb loved painting his pumpkin with dad and Uncle Landon

Our house is coming along nicely. This is right after they put the stucco on. We close on Nov 20 so we are hoping to move in right after Thanksgiving. We can't wait. Caleb keeps asking if he can live in the new house.

Caleb got a little jealous that Cambree gets to have all the fun, so when she was sleeping he took a little time for himself.

My dad turned 50 and retired earlier this month. We first surprised him with a Birthday party at my grandma's, then a week later we got him again. He though my mom was taking him out to dinner as a congrats for retiring. Well, we all showed up inside a stretch Hummer and took him to a nice dinner. After dinner we surprised him again with a surprise party at his friends house. It was really fun. Caleb loved going for a limo ride.

That is our month in review. Thanks for looking!

Cabin, House, Bath!

Hi again, we have had a really FUN month and wanted to share it with you. We just got back from the cabin last weekend. The cabin is in Christmas Meadows, Utah. Is just about 2 hours from our house in Pleasant Grove. We love going up there. It is quiet, relaxing and always an adventure. In the summer we go 4 wheeling, in the winter we go snowmobiling. Here are some pictures of our favorite place to be!

Here is Ashley and Caleb going for a ride on the 4wheeler we like to call Shrek!
It snowed all day on Saturday. Notice caleb is outside with a shovel, he would not have it any other way!

Here are some pictures of the cabin and the property.

Ok, here is an update on how are house is going! As of last week all we had was cement. Four days later we had a complete house. Now we have a roof, door, and plumbing. We close on the house on Nov. 19 and are hoping to be all moved in around Thanksgiving. We cannot wait!

Cambree took her first big girl bath earlier this month. She loves it. Caleb loves it to, now there is someone INSIDE the bath to splash. Caleb has really taken off in his talking skills. He is becoming quite the little man. Cambree is almost six months old and starting crawling just yesterday.

Thanks everyone for checking us out!

Here is what is going on....

HI EVERYONE! It has been awhile since we updated our blog, so we thought that we would let everyone what has been going on with us. So take a peek....and enjoy!

We recently had family pictures taken before Ashley left for college. Cambree was Ms. photogenic, but we couldn't get Caleb to smile for the life of us. We thought we would enter this black and white picture of Cambree into the cutest baby ever contest!

As many of you know, we are building a house in Lindon, Utah. They started this week and broke ground. We are so excited and can't wait to move in. We are hoping to move in the middle of November.

We started a new adventure this week.....Cambree tried rice cereal for the first time! She loved it! She hasn't quite figured it out yet, but she loves just being a big girl and sitting in the high chair. We can't believe that she is 5 months old now. TIME FLIES!

Here is a video of Cambree eating for the first time! So push play and enjoy her cuteness!
