Bear Lake Fun

Well we took our annual trip to Bear Lake, and it was as blast! Brandon's family has a house up there that we all stayed at. There were 14 of us and there was never a dull moment. My girl's gotta have her shoes!

We were really proud of Caleb for getting in the water. He has had a fear of water and we are slowly coming out of it. He even went out where it was deeper and kicked his legs, and used his arms. He was quite a little fish. Way to go bud! I am proud of you for trying it out!

As you can see, we are finally getting some more teeth. There are now almost 4 on top.
Grandma and Grandpa Hart and the grandkids!

Caleb loves Grandpa Hart and we found him constantly following him around! He loved having a matching hat and glasses like grandpa!

Ms. Hollywood

Across from the Bear Lake house there is a little field and park with some swings that the kids loved to play on

The sprinklers at the park provided some great entertainment! Everyone was soaked and having a great time!

Classic face! This is Caleb's cousin James
SOAKED!

The first night we got to Bear Lake we took a drive up the canyon and roasted hot dogs and marshmallows. It was really fun but the mosquitoes were horrible and we came home with a few friends (ticks! UGGHHH). It was beautiful up there, always a good time!

We brought Caleb's new fishing pole. There was no hook on the end, just a weight. So all he was able to do was cast it out and reel it in. But that was all he needed to make him happy!

Bear Lake was such a blast! We can't wait to go back next year. We will miss the late nights of playing games, the inside jokes and all the laughs! Who says we have to wait until next year, lets do it again soon!

Fun in June

Grandma and Grandpa Hart, Jenny and Daniel came to town from Indiana. The kids loved seeing them. We took them to a little park that had a fun little fountain and wading pool. It was a good way to cool off on a hot day!

Well, this is our first attempt at 2 pig tails! So CUTE!

Everyone came to town because Brandon's brother Jacob got married! We are excited to get to know Cindy even better and we are excited she is a part of our family! Congrats you two!

Caleb's 3rd Birthday

Caleb had an awesome birthday! Me-ma and Papa gave Caleb his first big-boy bike! He loves to ride and he caught on really fast!

Caleb also got a real fishing pole! He has asked us everyday if he can go fishing. So we are going to take him to the cabin next weekend so Uncle Dave can take him fishing!

Caleb is 3! Can you believe it? We had a dinosaur party with all his little friends and cousins. We took them to Backyard Adventures which has a whole bunch of indoor playgrounds and a bounce house. They had a blast!
Caleb had 11 little friends show up. It was total chaos but in a fun way!

We had to have chocolate cupcakes with dinosaurs on them! We also had pizza for lunch and rainbow sherbet ice cream!

This is Caleb and his cousin James in the bounce house. What good buds!

Turning 3 was such a blast. We are hoping that since he is 3 he will be in the Terrific 3's instead of the terrible 2's. Just Kidding. He is a great kid and we are so happy that he had so much fun at his party! Happy Birthday Buddy!

Anniversary and St George

This has been a blast of a month. Very full of excitement and the month is only half way there! Brandon and I celebrated our 4th Anniversary. Brandon surprised me BIG TIME! The Friday before our Anniversary Brandon says tells me to pack an overnight bag and get ready for the day. Then he left for work with no info! It was the longest day of my life. I went through the whole day trying to think of what we could be doing. At one point I though, well maybe we are just going to a movie. (Movies are a huge deal when you have little kids, crazy, I know) Then my mind started to reel. I began the think: Well maybe Brandon got a private jet and we are flying to Hawaii for the weekend! I knew it was unrealistic, but it is fun to dream! It turned out the be the BEST !Brandon took my downtown and had a Tower Suite at the Little America. The room was fabulous! We went to dinner, then went to the Gateway and watched an IMAX show at the Planetarium, then we went swimming! What a BLAST!

Brandon had arranged for rose, chocolate covered strawberries, sparkling cider and a hotel key engraved with our names and wedding date! I felt like a princess!

He then took me to dinner at the Little America restaurant. It is the BEST food we had ever tasted! Yumm! If you are downtown, you have to go!

Of course if we were living like the rich and famous for a night we had to drink like the rich and famous. Pinkies up!
Thanks for a wonderful surprise and get away, Brandon! It was a much needed break and I loved it! Love You!

This month we went to St. George with my family! We had such a nice time. We rented an awesome condo with everyone, we played and the park, we played tennis, we saw the Tuacahn Shows (this is an outdoor theater in the red rock hills of St. George. We saw The Sound of Music and Les Miserables), and we did lots of swimming!

The kids met Grandpa Grady and Diane for the first time! I think they won a little spot in their hearts!

Fun at the park

The first thing the boys did when we got to the condo was built a fort in the bunk beds. Boys will be Boys!

The kids are a little hesitant about swimming. After a while, they both grew to LOVE it!

Cambree was very insistent that she crawl like a princess, one leg in the air! It was hilarious!

What a fun month we are having! The rest of the month is full of big plans too, so check back soon!

Well, it's about time......and just some fun!

I love seeing the kids play with dad. He is their hero!

So, it is about time! OUR YARD IS FINISHED! We are having a fabulous time in our new yard. It is a lot of work, but a lot of fun! In our back yard we put a GIANT sand box for the kids. Eventually we will put a swingset in the sand, but for now the sand is entertaining enough. On either side of the sandbox we have two trees. One is an Eastern Redbud that will bloom light pink flowers, the other one is a Prairie Fire Crabapple that will bloom dark pink flowers. The best part about the backyard is all the grass that we can run around on! The shed with a garden behind it. We started small this year and got a late start on the garden but we planted squash, zucchini, carrots, broccoli, watermelon, cantelope, and pumpkins.

Isn't is so much better now that there is some color?

This is the corner bed in the front. We planted a Lollipop Crabapple tree that will bloom white flowers and a Flowering Plum that will bloom light pink flowers! We are still waiting for some flowers to bloom, it is fun to see something grow that we planted!

Some fun in a box. Why buy toys when a simple box entertains the kids for hours on end!

Caleb was very insistent that I climb in the box too.....Yeah Right!

Cambree got into the water left over by the hose. We thought this little slug trail was hilarious!

AYE! Mis Amigos, come on over and we will eat some dirt together! Vamanos!

Caleb is with his new little girlfriend Bailey who lives across the street. She is just what he needs. She sticks up for herself when Caleb is a bully. She is a fighter, but also a doll! Caleb loves her!
